Key Responsibilities • Serve as a bridge between the Art, Design, and Engineering teams. • Assist the Design team by offering technical support, creating assets, and optimizing them. • Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts to team members, product groups, and executives. • Manage and monitor content and systems to ensure memory and performance optimization across multiple projects. • Streamline workflow solutions and pipelines in collaboration with Dev and Designer for multiple projects. Required Skills • At least 3 years of experience in developing PC or console games and high-performance mobile applications for VR. • A balanced blend of technical and artistic skills, with a 50:50 tech-to-art ratio. • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for coordinating with technical and creative teams. • Proficiency in coding and scripting using tools such as C# and JavaScript (knowledge of Python, MaxScript, Mel is a plus). • Experience in developing applications for mobile devices and expertise in Java/Android. • Proficiency in at least one major 3D software like Maya (preferred) or 3DS Max. • Strong understanding of low-level hardware. • Detail-oriented approach to optimizing 3D scenes and materials for VR performance requirements. • Excellent working knowledge of Unity and Unreal Engine 4. • Solid familiarity with Source Engine and Hammer for SteamVR. • Proficiency in 3DMax (knowledge of Maya or Modo is a plus). • Strong skills in PBR Material shader and lighting (knowledge of Substance Designer and Painter is a plus). • Proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented, efficient, and highly self-motivated.
