FAQ
Is A-Cai, our interviewer, a real person?
It is an AI interviewer, and this conversation is the formal interview. Afterward, a headhunting consultant will assess how it went and decide whether to recommend you to the hiring company for an interview.
How long does the A-Cai interview take, and what should I prepare?
It takes about 20–40 minutes; just find a place where you can focus on your answers. This counts as a formal interview: the headhunting consultant will use it to decide whether to recommend you to the hiring organization for an interview, so please treat it as you would a real interview. Thank you.
Will my information be leaked?
Your résumé and interview content are used only by the employer you applied to for evaluation, and for nothing else.
How soon will I hear back after applying?
You'll get an initial reply within about 1–2 days, and you can check anytime via “Track interview progress” in the LINE menu. After your interview with A-Cai, if everything looks good, it is sent to the hiring company right away; we then keep following their review and will let you know whenever there's an update.
Will I be notified if I'm not selected?
Yes. Whatever stage you don't pass, you'll be notified, so you're never left waiting without an answer.
Can I apply without relevant experience?
Each job page clearly states whether candidates without experience are accepted. If it does not specifically say "no experience required," the role requires relevant experience.
What is temporary staffing, and how is it different from permanent employment?
With temporary staffing, the staffing company (Step1ne) signs the employment contract with you and assigns you to work at the host company's site. Labor and health insurance and payroll are handled by the staffing company, while job duties and the work environment are discussed with the host company. Every job page clearly states whether the role is a staffing position.
