FAQ

Is this a staffing role or a permanent position?+

This is a permanent position — not staffing and not a contract role.

Do I need BIM experience?+

No experience needed. The company provides full training, and once you are on site, a team of design PMs and design engineers will help you get up to speed.

How is the salary calculated?+

Average pay from NT$40,000; final pay is negotiable and set based on your education and how related your major is, with the exact figure confirmed with you by a consultant. Annual total is 14 months' salary.

Is overtime paid?+

If overtime is needed during the project, overtime pay follows the Labor Standards Act. Actual hours vary with construction progress at the time, and we will explain based on the latest site conditions during the interview.

Is accommodation provided?+

No dormitory, but there's a rent subsidy of NT$5,000 per month (eligibility will be explained at the interview).

How are commuting costs handled?+

Transportation costs are included in the monthly salary; project assignments come with an additional travel-home allowance.

Is there training first? Do I need to train somewhere else?+

There is no off-site training elsewhere: once hired, you go straight to the work site, where a team of design PMs and design engineers coaches you until you can work independently. You need to complete 6 hours of occupational safety training (the "green card" including construction), which you can take near home; when you are preparing to start, you can claim the cost from the company with your receipt. The training comes with no minimum service period.

What are the working hours and location?+

Two days off per week with no rotating shifts, 08:30–17:30 (lunch break 12:00–13:00 not counted as working hours). Work location: the Houli plant area in Taichung.

What is the interview process?+

You first go through an interview and screening with a Step1ne consultant. Once you pass, the consultant sends your résumé and your interest in the role to the hiring company, which confirms within 5 business days whether to hire you. For this role the hiring company does not hold interviews and evaluates on documents only, so the consultant's screening is the final check.
