Finance & Accounting Specialist (Monthly NT$42–50K, Da'an, Taipei)A new finance and accounting role on the Taiwan side of a Japanese real estate development group: day-to-day bookkeeping, voucher reconciliation, invoices and payments, and monthly reports, with guidance and review from the current finance manager
This is a newly created finance and accounting execution role on the Taiwan side of a Japanese real estate development group. The team already has a finance manager who oversees the books; this role is here to share the day-to-day workload: organizing income and expense data, reconciling vouchers, handling the administrative flow for invoices and payments, and preparing monthly accounts and basic management reports. Professional judgment and review are handled by the manager, so you will not have to carry financial management, multi-country taxation, or investment evaluation on your own. What we look at is the accounting work you have actually handled, not your number of years; fluent Japanese, experience with Japanese projects, or a Big Four background are not requirements. The group has future real estate development projects in Japan, so you may gradually get involved in accounting across entities and with overseas contacts, but these are not skills you need on day one.

Why this opportunity
A new position, but you won't be left to figure it out on your own
This is a new hands-on role created as the Taiwan side of the business grows. The team already has a finance manager overseeing the books, who is responsible for professional judgment and review. You will share the day-to-day workload — not carry financial management, multi-country tax matters or investment decisions on your own.
We look at what you have done, not the number of years
The hiring unit has made clear that a fixed number of years of experience will not be used to rule anyone out, and it does not require fluent Japanese, Japan project experience, a Big Four background, overseas tax law expertise, or independent ownership of IRR / cash flow analysis. In the interview you will be asked what accounting work you have actually handled and how you check payment and expense data for errors.
Processes are still growing, so your input will be heard
Some accounting forms and workflows are still being built. That means you won't just follow an existing SOP — you can propose more practical ways of doing things, discuss them and build them into the process.
Future opportunities to broaden your scope to international projects
The group has real estate development projects in Japan, so over time you may gradually work on inter-company transactions, coordination with overseas accounting and tax contacts, and project budget and cash tracking. None of this experience is needed when you join; these are skills you can grow into.
Employed and insured in Taiwan
You are employed in Taiwan and paid a Taiwan salary, with labor and health insurance under Taiwan regulations. The workplace is in Da'an District, Taipei, and no posting to Japan is required.
