We are hiring live streamers. You can stream from home, and no prior streaming experience is needed — every streamer is coached one-on-one, with a personal plan for what to improve next. The guaranteed minimum has two tiers, up to 100,000 (NT$, paid by the guild; your tier is confirmed at the interview). Tip commission is separate: when streaming from home you keep 45%, and you can withdraw it yourself in the app without waiting for the company to pay out. After you pass the interview and sign, we schedule a daily class time for online training and help you over video call to set up your home streaming setup until it is ready to go live. Because this role settles payments through a mainland China platform, you must already hold a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents and have a foreign currency account that can receive payments — both are hard requirements, and without either one the work is not possible. Because this is a contractor arrangement (not employment), there are a few things we want you to know before you apply: there is no labor or health insurance, no overtime pay, and no occupational injury compensation. These genuinely affect your rights, so we are telling you now rather than at signing.

What is the difference between a contractor arrangement and employment? What should I watch out for?+

This role is a contractor agreement. Contractor work is not covered by the Labor Standards Act, which means no labor or health insurance (you enroll yourself or through a trade union), no overtime pay, no annual leave, and no employer compensation for workplace injuries; pay is usually reported as professional income. Also note: a contract that says "contractor" does not make it contractor work under the law — the Ministry of Labor looks at actual subordination. If I stream on Douyin in mainland China, will I actually get paid?+

Yes, you can get paid, but the money cannot be transferred directly into a Taiwanese bank account. China has foreign exchange controls: revenue shares from mainland platforms can only be paid into a bank account in mainland China, or into an Alipay/WeChat balance linked to a Chinese bank card. Most "I streamed but never got paid" disputes get stuck right here. So in the interview, be sure to ask: whose account the money lands in first when it leaves the platform, what currency it is in, which day it settles, and whether a guild collects it on your behalf. Here is how this role works: the guaranteed minimum is paid to you by the guild in NT$, while tip commissions you withdraw yourself in the app. That means you need a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents and a foreign-currency account that can receive payments; without either one, you cannot work. How is the commission calculated?+

Streaming online (from home), the streamer keeps 45%; streaming at the company, the streamer keeps 30% — these numbers are the share the streamer receives, not the share taken away. The rate is lower at the company because the company provides the venue, equipment, and on-site staff. What you really need to confirm is the calculation basis: whether the 45% applies to viewers' gross gifts or to the settled amount after the platform takes its cut makes a big difference, so ask clearly at the interview and request that it be written into the contract. Yes. The listing clearly says “don't worry if you don't know how to stream” — the company's streamers coach you one-on-one and set an improvement plan for each step. Do I have to attend training at the office?+
